Property Features

A chic, sprawling home amidst the rugged Donegal coastline

The living area is the heart of this incredible home, seamlessly merging with the spectacular sea views. Large windows are a prominent feature throughout the house, particularly in this room. A floor-to-ceiling window pane captures the sea view perfectly, architected to perfection. At night, the moon can be seen through it, adding a magical touch. The interior boasts dark wood and earth tones, creating a chic and contemporary style.

A few steps down from the living area is the kitchen, where functionality meets epic design. It shares the mid-century style of the living area and features a large work island that doubles as a breakfast bar. The polished concrete floors add to the sleek look. The kitchen has three doors: one leading to the front of the house, and the other two opening to the spacious back garden and BBQ area.

Indoors, the kitchen has double glass doors and a step leading down to the dining room, with doors to the front of the house and stairs ascending to the master bedroom en suite. Through the dining room, the hallway to the left contains two of the downstairs bedrooms and a family bathroom. To the right leads to another downstairs double bedrooms and a snug TV room with a large L-shaped couch, an electric fireplace, and a flatscreen TV. Past these rooms is the utility area and a back door to the garden. This home embraces a no-shoes-inside policy, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom in this home tells its own story through its unique design, seamlessly blending with the stunning outside views rather than competing with them. Each room features built-in cabinets, beautiful beds, and furniture and lighting that enhance their individual styles.

The master bedroom is located upstairs, preceded by a cozy sitting area perfect for lounging. This spacious room is filled with light, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. It boasts clean edges and large windows that frame the breathtaking views. The en suite bathroom, like all bathrooms in the house, is warm and inviting, featuring geothermal underground heating.

Downstairs, there are three additional bedrooms that share a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower. Two of these are double bedrooms, and the third is a twin bedroom. The entire home can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, providing ample space and comfort for a relaxing stay.

Outside

The exterior of this home is an architectural beauty. As you drive along the St John Point peninsula and turn toward the house, it emerges magnificently, with a large driveway and lush green grass. The hall door greets you, but it’s easy to walk around to the back of the house from the front.

The backyard features a large green grass meadow with paving that guides you to the back door and up to the BBQ area. This space includes a large prep station and sink to the right of the BBQ. A stunning curved wall serves as both a beautiful feature and a sitting area. Additionally, there’s a large fireplace feature on the other side of the house, which is hidden from the roadway. This fireplace has a spacious built-in seating area around it, making it the perfect place to sit and admire the moon.
